On July 11, 2009, Our two-hour guided trail ride will begin at the famous Diamond Bar Riding Stable in Burbank, CA.

If you don't own your own horse, NO PROBLEM!!!
75 Horses are available on a first come, first serve basis! A horse is secured for you once your registration form is received and registration fee's have been paid.
 Check-In begins at 3:30 pm and we ride out together at 5:00 pm !! We will also be gathering other participants from surrounding barn facilities as we ride out!
Our 2 hour ride, with trails chosen most suitable for riders of all abilities, will weave us through the beautiful and majestic tree lined equestrian trails and paths of Griffith Park, and bring us back around to Diamond Bar Stables. We will then head off just a few blocks away (Three!) to the Pickwick Gardens for a Country Style BBQ Dinner!
At the Bar-B-Que dinner we will have some fun entertainment, drawings, a silent auction and present some very special awards.

Non-Rider Information: Families, Friends and Non-Riders are very welcomed to join us, help raise funds and attend the Bar-B-Que!

The Life Group LA is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.
Registration Deadline — July 8, 2009:
All riders and non-riders are encouraged that in order for us to reserve enough space at the Bar-B-Que and enough horses for the event, please mail, or use the online registration form and submit your payment.
If you are mailing in your registration forms, please have checks made out to 'The Life Group LA' and mailed to The Life Group LA, 7985 Santa Monica Blvd. #109-330; Los Angeles, CA 90046-5112 to be received no later than July 8, 2009 if at all possible.

Our Ride Rules - Registration Commitment, Rider commits to try and raise a minimum of $400.00
- All Saddle Up LA participants must be at least 15 years of age at the time of the event and must have parent or guardian present at registration.
- No Dogs
- Walking trail ride only. We must respect that not all riders are advanced riders and would not feel comfortable doing anything more than walking.
- No rough riding or racing
- No riding double
- Keep safe distance between horses.
- Ride in single or double file only.
- Long pants, shirt and appropriate shoes should be worn when riding.
- Obey instructions of trail guide at all times.
- SMOKING ON ALL TRAILS IS PROHIBITED!!!
- No drinking of alcoholic beverages while on trail.
- Abuse of any kind will not be tolerated and you will be removed from the ride at the discretion of the trail boss.
- No use of ropes, lariats or bullwhips allowed while mounted.
- The Life Group LA, and Saddle Up LA takes no responsibility for ACTS OF GOD. We do not refund or credit for bad weather or unforeseen events caused by circumstances beyond our control.
- Your registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Registration fees do not apply toward your fundraising minimum.
- The Life Group LA, and Saddle Up LA are not responsible for any accidents to riders, horses or other non-riders in our group.
- Riders ride at their own risk.
- WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY RESERVATION.
- EVERYONE RIDING WITH US MUST BE REGISTERED. This means that everyone must have a wristband on, and his or her ride number pinned to his or her back.
- Horse owners are responsible for actions or damages incurred by themselves or their horses.
The Life Group LA, and Saddle Up LA take no responsibility for
ACTS OF GOD. We do not refund or credit for bad weather or unforeseen
events caused by circumstances beyond our control.
Your registration fee is non-refundable.
